Reese Witherspoon Not Pressing Charges Against Driver

Looks like Reese Witherspoon won't be pulling an Elle Woods.

A source tells Us Weekly that the actress, 35, is not planning to press charges against the 84-year-old woman who struck her with her car in Santa Monica, Calif. on Wednesday. (Witherspoon was jogging when the unnamed woman failed to yield to a pedestrian at a crosswalk.)

Witherspoon's rep told Us the Legally Blonde star was "not seriously injured and is resting comfortably at home."

A source adds: "The incident is being treated as an accident. The driver was not given an alcohol test at the accident scene and typically she would receive a fine and a point on her driving license as it is considered a moving violation."

Fortunately, Witherspoon sustained only a cut on her forehead. The Oscar-winner's injuries are not expected to affect her upcoming projects, which include This Means War with Tom Hardy and Mud with Matthew McConaughey.

Is Britney Spears engaged?

Britney Spears has flashed a very engagement-looking ring to paparazzi in London.

The singer showed off her rock as she left Radio 1 yesterday, where she gave an interview to kick off the European leg of her Femme Fatale tour.

But this all looks very familiar!

Brit Brit has been spotted wearing this ringon a number of occasions – the last being only a few months ago.

Has Brit secretly gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Jason Trawick, or is this all a bit of publicity fun for the twice-divorced, 29-year-old?

According to Splash News, Jason was spotted leaving a Los Angeles jewellery store recently, but a rep for the couple denied any engagement plans.

C'mon Brit Brit, explain yourself!

Kirstie Alley has lost 100lbs

Kirstie Alley had dropped a massive amount of weight (again).

The 60-year-old told Entertainment Tonight that she's lost 100lbs – or 45 kilos, and it's all thanks to Dancing With The Stars.

The 60-year-old actress started her slim-down regime before appearing on the US reality show, but the demanding nature of dance training accelerated her weight loss.

"I've lots 100lbs," she told ET.

"I feel like I'm back in my element. I honestly didn't even realise what I looked like."

Kirstie is an infamous yo-yo dieter and has battled with her weight for years.

And while she's proud of her latest loss, the actress seems to know when enough is enough- a rare thing in Hollywood.

Kirstie told ET she's not a fan of surgery –because it makes people look weird.

"I haven't had plastic but here's the reason. People do plastic surgery to make you look younger. I don't think it makes you look younger. I think it can make you look weirder."

The actress also said she's keen to spend more time with men, but it doesn't sound like she's into long-term relationships.

"This is what I think about sex. I think it's fun to hook up every night for six months. Then it's time to move on!"

Watch out for the man-eater!

Brad Pitt says thoughts on Aniston misunderstood

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A story posted on Parade magazine's website on Thursday in which Brad Pitt talks about his life with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston put the actor in damage control mode, saying his words had been misinterpreted.

The 47-year-old Pitt said in a profile by Parade magazine posted on the publication's website that he is now a "satisfied man" in his relationship with Angelina Jolie.

The "Moneyball" star compares his new life with Jolie, with whom he is raising 6 kids, favorably to the roughly five years he spent married to Aniston.

"It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself," Pitt told Parade.

"I think that my marriage (to Aniston) had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't," he added.

Those quotes were interpreted by many media outlets as meaning Pitt thought Aniston was uninteresting. But the A-list actor sought to clarify himself in a statement issued later by his talent agency.

"It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself -- and that, I am responsible for," Pitt said in the statement.

Pitt and "Friends" star Aniston were married in 2000, and he has largely avoided talking about her since their 2005 divorce.

In the magazine interview, Pitt also said he spent the 1990s "trying to hide out" from celebrity. "I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out," he said.

Although Pitt and Oscar winner Jolie have been together for more than five years, the actor has said they will not marry until gay marriage is widely legalized. He is sticking to that.

"We'll get married when everyone can," Pitt told Parade.

The Parade interview with Pitt, who stars in the upcoming baseball drama "Moneyball," is being published in this Sunday's edition of the magazine.

Brad Pitt bad-mouths his marriage to Jennifer Aniston

You'd think after seven years Brad Pitt would shut up about his broken marriage to Jennifer Aniston.

But no, he just can't help pulling it out of the bag.

The 47-year-old has spoken to Parade Magazine (for what seems like three hours, given the size of the story), saying that his relationship with Jen pretty much made his whole life crap.

"I spent the '90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself.

And then…you suck, Jen, you suck…

"I think that my marriage [to Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't."

Ouch.

What makes it even more harsh is that Brad then goes on a gushy rave about how amazing Angelina is, and how incredible they are together.

"[Now] I put much more emphasis on being a satisfied man. I'm satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much.

"One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh man, I'm so happy to have her."

So, let's get this straight. Jen made you feel like a total loser and Ange makes you say corny stuff like 'oh man'?

Awesome.
