Amanda Holden loses her unborn baby at seven months

Amanda Holden and her husband Chris Hughes are 'utterly devastated' after losing their unborn baby.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 39, was seven months pregnant with a boy when she suffered problems this week.

The actress was rushed to hospital in West London on Tuesday when she noticed the baby wasn't moving.

Despite attempts by doctors to save the baby, Holden's son was later stillborn.

Holden's spokesperson Alison Griffin said: 'They are utterly devastated. Amanda had been closely monitored throughout her pregnancy and it is not yet known what went wrong.

'Both Chris and Amanda would like to thank the midwives and staff at The Queen Mary Maternity unit at West Middlesex Hospital Isleworth for their tremendous support.'
The tragic news comes amidst Holden's judging duties for the fifth series of Britain's Got Talent.

Defiant Lindsay Lohan makes her return to the spotlight just hours before she hears she WILL be charged with theft

Lindsay Lohan put on a brave face last night as she made a long-awaited return to the spotlight at a high-profile dinner party.

But just hours later her troubles sank to a new low as it emerged she is to be charged with theft.

The 24-year-old's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, was informed of the impending charge yesterday and talked to Lindsay on the phone last night, TMZ.com reports

The charges, which relate to a $2,500 necklace, are likely to be made on Monday, and if convicted, Lindsay faces a maximum three years in prison.

She has so-far denied allegations that she stole the piece from Venice Beach jewellery store Kamofie & Co.
Earlier yesterday evening Lindsay looked in good spirits as she attended the party thrown by designer Giuseppe Zanotti.

The star ensured she was impeccably styled and groomed for her first outing at a Hollywood event since leaving the Betty Ford rehabilitation facility last month.

The ongoing scandal looked like the furthest thing from the Mean Girls star's mind as she posed for pictures and rubbed shoulders with Zanotti and fellow troublemaker Kanye West at the party in West Hollywood .

Wearing a black strapless dress with a bow belt, strappy black heels and her blonde hair perfectly curled, Lindsay appeared confident and carefree.

It was in stark contrast to her agitated expression the day before, after paying a visit to her probation officer, who would surely have grilled the starlet on her latest controversy.

Lindsay visited the Santa Monica courthouse for the meeting, at what can only be described as extremely bad timing.

Sheen tells porn stars 'it's over'

The Two and A Half Men star sent the messages after he began undergoing rehabilitation treatment at his home, TMZ reports.

In one of the messages, sent to an unidentified porn star, Sheen wrote: "Please lose the number, we are closed … please drive through… thank you".

Another porn star received a message from him saying: "Right now we are on lockdown."

The troubled actor allegedly had a 36-hour drug and alcohol binge with several porn stars that led to his hospitalisation on January 28.

The 45-year-old began undergoing rehabilitation at home a few days after the marathon party.

It was rumoured that Sheen suffered an overdose but his representatives said he was hospitalised due to pain from a hiatal hernia.

One of the porn stars who was among five women at Sheen's house during the party said he was "wasted out of his mind" and she "couldn't keep up" with him.

Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband in hospital

Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband has been hospitalised along with the 93-year-old actress after he collapsed in a medical centre elevator.

Publicist John Blanchette says Frederic Prinz von Anhalt was hospitalised on Tuesday and plans to recuperate on Wednesday while Gabor remains in the hospital indefinitely.

Doctors are trying to clear an infection that developed after Gabor's recent leg amputation.

Blanchette added that Gabor and her husband are not staying in the same the same room at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Centre.

Gabor, a sex symbol of the 1950s and 1960s who appeared in such movies as Queen of Outer Space, had most of her right leg amputated last month because of gangrene.

She had been released from the hospital on January 22 but returned there on Tuesday with a high fever, fluid in her lungs and an infection.

Gabor broke her hip and had replacement surgery in July. She had been hospitalised several times for swelling and clots before the amputation.

Victoria Beckham expecting a baby girl

Football superstar David Beckham and his pregnant wife Victoria have been told their fourth child is a girl after a hospital scan confirmed the news.

Victoria, 36, had an ultrasound in January that revealed her unborn baby, a daughter, was healthy and developing well, The Sun reports.

"David and Victoria are over the moon. This will be their last child and to be told they are having a girl is the icing on the cake for the Beckham clan," a source close to the family told the newspaper.

"Victoria is 36 and David is thinking about life after retirement. For them, with a sister for their boys — who are growing up fast — this is the perfect family."

"All their dreams have come true. They couldn't have wished for more."

Victoria has in the past been very open about her desire for a girl, after having three boys — Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5 — saying she would love someone to do girly activities with.

"I can imagine painting her nails, putting on make-up and choosing clothes with her," she says.

"Everyone keeps asking if I'd like a little girl and I think, if I'm lucky enough to have another baby, that would be great."

An earlier scan in January at the private hospital near her family home in Sawbridgeworth, Herts, could not determine the sex of their fourth child.

The couple's fourth child is expected to arrive sometime in the northern hemisphere's summer.
